Turmoil is back on the air!! Turmoil can be heard every other Wednesday night from 9pm to 10pm. Some other things deserving mention:
• From 8:00pm - 9:00pm I present "Davie Jones Locker", an hour dedicated to anything David Bowie related, whether covers; rarities; musicians who have worked with David Bowie; or originals. Playlists are posted on the site
• Please check out "Live from the Underground: A History of College Radio", by Katherine Rye Jewell. There's a few pages that make mention of Turmoil Radio that you may find interesting. Available through Amazon or Live from the Underground. Here is a link to an interview with Katherine conducted by Marc Stern of WMBR 88.1fm, MIT, that discusses Turmoil: Radio With A View
• Back in the mid-2000's, I donated the entire Turmoil Collection of records, tapes, cd's, band correspondence, and other material related to the show, to the Stony Brook University Archives. These are available for researchers or other interested folks. For information, you can go to Turmoil Archives
• On my return to WUSB I found a binder documenting the history of the station. I didn't see this on the stations website, so am putting it here, WUSB History
